Warranty conditions


Thank you for choosing an OEHLBACH quality product. The products are continuously checked and tested during the entire manufacturing process. If, contrary to expectations, a service case should arise, please note the following.

1. The guarantee begins with the purchase of the product and is valid for 24 months.

2. During the warranty period, we will remedy any defects that are demonstrably due to material or manufacturing faults by replacing or repairing the defective parts after our inspection. Further claims, in particular for reduction, cancellation, compensation or consequential damages, are excluded.

3. No improper interventions may be carried out on the product. 

4. If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee, please contact your specialist dealer first. Should it prove necessary to return the product to us, please ensure that: 
  • The product is sent in perfect original packaging (or adequately and properly packaged).
  • The purchase receipt or a legible copy is enclosed.
  • A detailed description of the fault is enclosed. 

5. The warranty does not cover:
  • Wear parts
  • Transport damage, visible or invisible (Claims for such damage must be submitted immediately to the transport company, railway or post office.)
  • Scratches or other externally visible damage (These defects must be reported directly to your dealer within 5 days of purchase.)
  • Defects caused by incorrect installation, incorrect connection, improper operation (see operating instructions if necessary), stress or external force
  • Improperly repaired or modified appliances that have been opened by someone other than us
  • Consequential damage to third-party devices
  • Reimbursement of costs for the repair of damage by third parties without our prior consent. 

6. We grant a 30-year guarantee on the electrical function of all cables from the date of the start of the guarantee (see section 1) under the conditions stated in sections 3 to 5 above. Excluded from this guarantee are:
  • Functional limitations due to new or changed standards in the entertainment industry 

Our guarantee services are set out in Section 2. In all other respects, Sections 1 to 5 remain unaffected and valid by this additional guarantee service for cables.

We will endeavour to repair/replace your defective product as quickly as possible so that you can enjoy your OEHLBACH product again as soon as possible. If, contrary to expectations, there should be longer waiting times, we ask for your understanding.
