HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Oehlbach is a traditional company that was founded in Germany 50 years ago. In 1974, the history of the company began with the foundation of Manfred Oehlbach and his wife Gabriele on a small contemplative farm in the beautiful countryside of Baden. The start was three speaker cables with 1.5mm², 2mm² and 4mm² of high quality. Ten years later, Oehlbach Kabel GmbH was founded. Since 1985, the company has been a premium supplier of technically sophisticated cables and accessories for the electrical and multimedia industries.

THE HISTORY OF OEHLBACH CONTINUES

After 35 years under Manfred Oehlbach's dedicated management, he retired in 2010. Frank Decker became the second managing director in the entire history of Oehlbach and continues the business with the same maxims of high quality and innovation. To this day, Mr. Oehlbach's quote guides us to ensure that our customers receive and enjoy the best possible product solutions.

THE TEAM

In the office, 25 employees work daily in Cologne and Langenzenn and are on duty for you. In addition, five area sales managers are available to answer your questions.

Our head office is located on the right bank of the Rhine in the wonderful city of Cologne. In addition to our hard-working employees, our office dog Juppie is also at home here. Juppie is the faithful companion of our managing director Mr. Decker.

Our logistics location is about 25 km west of Nuremberg in the Middle Franconian town of Langenzenn. In addition to the warehouse and logistics, this is also the home of customized cable production and customer service.

Together with Schwaiger GmbH Zubehör, Oehlbach is part of VOXX German Accessory Holdings GmbH, which in turn is part of VOXX intl. Corp. USA.

Oehlbach is a "GLOBAL PLAYER" with an international orientation. Our products are exported to 30 countries worldwide. Among them are Australia, Vietnam and Taiwan. Austria and Italy are in direct distribution.
